On 31 January 2026, the Nepali Blood Donors Association Australia (NBDA) successfully held its 2nd Annual General Meeting at the NRNA Australia Office in Merrylands, Sydney.
I am deeply honoured to share that I have been appointed as the Secretary of NBDA Australia for the 2026–2028 term. This responsibility is not just a position — it is a commitment to serve the community with dedication, integrity, and action.
A Responsibility I Value
As Secretary, my role is to ensure strong coordination within the executive team, maintain proper documentation and communication, and support the smooth operation of all organisational activities.
My key focus areas include:
-
Strengthening internal coordination and communication
-
Supporting effective planning and execution of blood donation campaigns
-
Maintaining proper records and governance standards
-
Expanding collaboration with community organisations across Australia
I believe strong organisational structure and clear communication are essential to achieving sustainable impact.
Commitment to the Mission
NBDA stands on the powerful belief that “Blood Donation is Life Donation.” Being part of this humanitarian movement is both inspiring and humbling. Every blood donor, volunteer, and supporter contributes to saving lives — and that is the true strength of our organisation.
With the trust placed in me by the members, I am committed to working collaboratively with our President, executive team, advisors, and community stakeholders to further strengthen NBDA’s presence and impact.
Looking Ahead
Over the next two years, my goal is to:
-
Support the expansion of NBDA networks across different Australian states
-
Improve operational efficiency and transparency
-
Increase awareness and participation in voluntary blood donation
-
Foster unity within the Nepali community through meaningful service
This journey is about service, responsibility, and collective effort. I sincerely thank all members for their trust and look forward to working together to make an even greater difference.
Together, we will continue to save lives and strengthen our community.
